New Orleans Film Society is seeking a proven & successful fundraiser with the poise, passion and skills to close successfully on budgetary funding requirements that will ensure NOFS’ success as the presenter of an Academy-accredited film festival with a national reach, as well as other programs focused on filmmaker professional development and bringing quality film experiences to local audiences in New Orleans. The Development Manager plans & implements strategies and activities to ensure the attainment fundraising campaign goals focusing on individual donors and members of all levels, in-kind and cash corporate sponsorships, and foundations and government grants.

The 2017 New Orleans Film Festival is looking to fill a few Seasonal Positions.

Leading up to the New Orleans Film Festival every October, we seek seasonal staff to help with a variety of festival duties (box office, venue management, transportation, volunteer coordination, print traffic, etc.). This year’s festival will take place October 11-19, 2016. We currently don’t have positions open for NOFF 2016.

The NOFS is seeking office interns to work part time in our office assisting the NOFS staff with a variety of duties and tasks. Intern positions are unpaid.
Tasks include data entry, building spreadsheets, researching possible sponsorship opportunities, placing membership forms around town, helping to update the website, working on monthly newsletter, year-round publicity of NOFS events and screenings, and other office- and event-related tasks.
Hours: Weekly commitment of at least 6-8 hours each week. Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Experience/Skills Needed: Professional background or study in Film, Media, or Communications.

This year we are excited to announce a new component to NOFF’s Volunteer program. Introducing our VolunTIER teams:
You will be required to commit to all or most of the days of the festival, and hold a specific position (approx. 40hrs). Benefits: NOFS membership, movie vouchers, goodie bag, coupon for free vintage NOFF merchandise item, free 2017 NOFF volunteer t-shirt, special Volunteer badge as a keepsake.
Half ‘n’ Half:
You will share a position with another volunteer to trade off shifts with (approx. 20hrs). Must commit to 3-6 days of the festival.

Mind the Gap team:
Your involvement can be as low as 1 shift and you will aid in filling in the gaps of festival needs.
